Have you received a disqualification (psychological) or proposed disqualification for a law enforcement tile? If so, you are not alone. The appeal process for a psychological disqualification or proposed disqualification for a law enforcement agency varies depending on the agency for which you are applying. Therefore, it’s important to familiarize yourself with the appeal process for your agency and to carefully read all correspondence sent to you via mail or email. At times, you may be allowed to appeal the disqualification (or proposed disqualification) by presenting a report from an independent evaluator (psychologist) that you have hired. This is where Kings Psychological can be of service. In appeal cases, I require an initial 60-minute consultation and review of your records. At the end of the consultation, I will inform you about whether I will take your case. If your case is accepted, the fee you paid for the consultation will be subtracted from the fee for the entire evaluation. If your case is accepted, we will meet several times so that I can gather additional information and you may be asked to complete some additional psychological testing.
Please feel free to reach out for a free 15-minute phone consultation.
