Adult
We sometimes come to a point in our lives when additional insight about who we are is necessary to help us grow. This is when a tailored psychological assessment battery can be helpful for you. It is important to think of assessment as a tool that can help you understand how and why you interact with the world the way you do. When the assessment is appropriately selected and administered, it can give you information about the following:
- Your personality structure and interpersonal style
- Your cognitive strengths and weaknesses
- The job type that would be the best fit for you
- Underlying mental health concerns

Child
Neuropsychological assessment for children is one of the best tools our profession has for understanding the child as a whole. Often children are assessed because they seem to be struggling in school and we are looking to understand what factors may be contributing to this struggle. It is paramount to remember that although your child may be struggling, they also likely have some significant strengths that can be used to overcome difficulties and excel. In order to identify both strengths and areas that need improvement, I will structure a neuropsychological battery specifically for your child. The administration of this battery will be followed by a comprehensive report that I will provide to you during a feedback session, which is when I can answer any questions that you may have about the assessment or what to do next.
Assessments for children and adolescents are not only for those who are struggling in school, but can also help identify complex mental health concerns and the tools that may be of most help, such as therapy, in resolving those concerns. At times, parents seek out assessments for their children not because the child is struggling, but because the parent would simply like to know more about their child and their child’s potential.
